Tropical Marine Centre Ultra Violet Clarifiers are the UV of choice for most serious pond builds.
The UV unit has two inlets and two outlets, one horizontal and one vertical to suit your pipework. It also means you can have the water flowing inline, reducing the amount of bends in the system. This prevents any further loss of power from your chosen pump.
The UV is supplied with blue translucent hose tails and blanking caps so you can see the UV is working. However, in most cases we recommend connecting to the UV with 1 1/2" threaded male unions.
The 110W Pro Clear UV does not have hosetails or threaded connections. The inlet and outlets are 2" Solvent Weld.

The TMC Pro Clear 30w is suited to koi ponds of up to 3000 gallons/13500 litres in heavy stocked ponds in full sun.
The TMC Pro Clear 55w is suited to koi ponds of up to 5000 gallons/22500 litres in heavy stocked ponds in full sun.
The TMC Pro Clear 110w is suited to koi ponds of up to 10000 gallons/45000 litres in heavy stocked ponds in full sun.
