The first step to take when you notice your fish are behaving different is to test your water.
Water quality issue are usually to blame for koi behaving strange. Only when you have tested the water should you take a scrape of your fish, and find out if they have parasites or not.
It is important to only dose your pond when you have a parasite or bacterial problem, if it is a water quality issue, you could make things worse.
Also, please make sure you know your pond volume. An overdose of certain treatments can kill, and an underdose will make the parasite build resistance to any further treatments you may add. |
