A proper diet is essential for your koi. The leading brands will include all the requirements of your koi, and many will have added benefits.
Koi typically need 2% of their body weight in food for optimum growth, and research suggests tht feeding little and often is better for the koi than a larger feed. It is also worth noting that koi do not have stomachs, and food is immediately passed through the intestine. Any undigested food is excreted.
We have found that by feeding medium pellets, more of the food is digested, hence less waste.
All our food is listed as medium pellets, however, if you do require large sizes, we can order them.
