Water Testing: SENEYE
SENEYE is an exciting new piece of aquatic monitoring equipment. It measures pH and Free Ammonia (which is unlike liquid/tablet test kits which measure total ammonia), as well as temperature in the 'Pond' and 'Home' versions.
The 'Reef' version also measures light intensity, ideal for knowing when your bulbs require changing.
The SENEYE has a USB interface to connect to your PC or laptop, or can be powered using a mains adapter. When pluged into a computer, it records and send data to your SENEYE account, which monitors your pond/aquarium environment, and any changes can be sent to you be email or SMS text message.
The unit is ultra sensitive to ammonia, measuring down to 0.005mg/l - half the reading of Hanna Instruments used by koi dealers and hobbyists all over the world. It does this without using reagents, and repeats the test 1000's of times each month.
