TMC and Evolution Aqua have been chosen as they offer great performance and good design features, and the ability to utilise the best pipe fittings for ease of fitting and maintainence.
UVC's work by disturbing the cells of algae as they pass through the UV light, which is then collected in the next pass of the filtration system. Where possible, fitting on a skimmer line is beneficial when using low wattage pumps on filter returns, or high flow rate filters such as beads and showers.
