Koi Food

Our koi food has been chosen to provide the best diet available for koi.

We supply all sizes of koi food, but we strongly suggest using small and medium pellets where possible as they offer easier digestion due to the koi's anatomy.

Traditionally, Japanese koi foods have been the best available, but Evolution Aqua now offer a range of foods to rival the Japanese fooods. Hikari and Japan Pet Drugs (Yamato Nishiki, Nobori & Medicarp) are well respected foods, offering good nutrition and minimal waste.

Wheatgerm foods are considered winter foods by many novices, but you will find people on the show circuit use these foods all year round.

When feeding a growth food, pay attention to water temperatures as koi do not digest high protein foods so well at low temperatures.
