Hoses and Fittings
Flexible hoses have many uses in and around the koi pond. On professional builds, the trend is to use PVC pressure pipe for filtration plumbing, however flexible hoses prove useful in waste water applications and for the transfer of air from air pumps to diffussers.
Ribbed hoses are the cheapest large bore tube, however do not have the lifespan of the smooth bore hose. Smooth bore hose also seals better.
Smooth bore hose can be used with standard or stainless steel jubilee clips, ribbed hose should be secured using wire type clips available in our online shop.
