Air Pumps and Accessories: Air Stones
The range of air stones carried by Kitsu Koi offer a product for most situations. Smaller ball type air stones are useful in quarantine and growing tanks, bowls and for 'scattering' around the pond. The larger airstones whilst being able to be used in small ponds are ideal for giving out lots of air in larger ponds. Airpumps can be damaged by using airstones that are too small, or not using enough airstones.
4mm airline is commonly used on smaller air stones, such as the 50mm ceramic balls, and the smaller ceramic cylinder air stones. 8mm is for use on aerated bottom drains, and larger flat ceramic air stones and larger Japanese ceramics.
